Default Door Pull Hardware (( 08-04-23 ))

Sticking with the ARP theme I ordered more bolts.

These will be used to Red Pull Straps.

Default Final Battery Wiring (( 08-05-23 )) Well Maybe ???

Trying to decide if I want to move the battery shut off to the top or leave it on the Side Posts.

I also noticed it was bent and preventing which was preventing it from actually killing the battery.

I added SAE washers to the top post wires so they would stop moving when I tightened the bolt.

I also put the battery on the Optima charger since it was dead.

Remy the Supervisor.

Kinda funny Mike and I were talking about this bolt the other day and yes it seized up while we were installing it.

I learned long ago to use anti-sieze on all stainless bolts and nuts. Learned the hard way that is.

Part of the reason I went to zinc plated bolts in my latest build, plus I like the OEM look.

Default Inner Fender Bolt (( 08-05-23 ))

Just being safe here.

This inner fender bolt was protruding into the area near where the coolant hoses are. So just to be safe I shortened the bolt a little bit.

Whatever you do don't let that hit your hand.

I quickly pulled the bolt out before it fused it self to the clip.

and the good news is my hand is healing for the cut off wheel.

Trust me we put on anti-seize however I can confirm it was not enough

In the late 70's I had a 71 Camaro with a small block and 6-71 blower. I remember installing some Moroso anodized aluminum blower studs in the new Weiand intake by hand. Next day I went to remove them and several were like welded in place. Couldn't believe it, destroyed them getting them out. That's when I first learned about anti-sieze and the reason for using it lol.

If you don't end up looking like the Tinman from the Wizard of Oz when you use anti-seize, you didn't use enough.

🤣🤣🤣

That’s almost as good as cutting up jalapeños and then having to pee and you forget to wash your hands before you do.
