While working on the cluster at home at work I've been working on the bezel. After getting it sanded and painted I got the pods wrapped in carbon then trimmed. After that I got the bottom wrapped in carbon. The cluster opening I'm going to paint black to offset all the carbon. After the second coat of epoxy I sanded it, trimmed it, and cut the holes for the starter button and gauge dimmer. Also my LS9 accessory drive showed up.

Thanks guys. Last night I put the last coat of epoxy on. I also added a little factory style detail to the gauge dimmer. This morning I hit it with some 320 real fast just to see how it will wet sand out and its going to look real good. Goal for the weekend and to get this and the cluster wet sanded so I can try and get them to paint next week. Going for a matte clear to match the door stills and not have a lot of sun reflection when driving.

Friday I had to pull the trailer to work so I could get it inspected. While I had it at the shop I put the dash bezel in it quick fast to see how it would look. I'm pretty happy with how it's tuning out so far.

I messed up the mix on the last coat of epoxy that goes in the inside black ring around the bezel last week so I've been working on getting that fixed. I have one more coat I think to get it finished up so I can do a finial wet sand on it. I did get the cluster finished up with the sanding though. Its all trimmed and test fit so it's ready for paint now.

I also have done a lot of work on my tail lamp LED's. The second one is almost finished up and then I can get the potting epoxy done and they'll be ready to install. Pics on those later.

So I got the bezel and cluster at paint and should get them back in a week or two. I started working on the center console. I finally located one that wasn't crazy expensive last week and started working on it when it got here.

First thing I did was fill the traction control button hole and bond the access panel in place for a smooth look. After that I fiberglassed the stock opening for the radio, HVAC and ash tray to start with while I went back and forth on if I wanted an iPad mini or a double din radio. After searching and searching I decided to go with the double din because it will do more than the iPad will do for me. With that decided I bonded the double din trim ring in and got it body worked.

I still haven't picked out an HVAC controller yet. I really like the Resomod Air controller the best, but I've emailed them a few times with no response. Personally the Vintage Air controllers look like old hot rodder parts and they don't have anything more modern looking like I'd like to use.

Now I'm on hold again with this part until I know what controller to put in, then I will wrap it in carbon and send it to paint. I may try a vertical controller and put my window switches on each side of it. Need to print off pictures and tape them to it for a visual.

Edit** not sure why the pictures are big and 90*. They are fine on my computer before I upload them.

Thank you.

Yesterday evening I got the rear bumper primer sanded one last time and threw some paint on it. I need another coat or two, but I wet sanded a small area this morning and its looking great. Once I get it finial wet sanded I'll be able to make my mold for carbon lay up.
