HEY Mark, where do you buy all your wiring blank plugs and etc.? I'm still using GM weather pack stuff but sometimes I need more then 5-6 slots.
I can't answer for Mark, but the company I work for does some GM harness work for the aftermarket. We have found powerandsignal.com to be your best bet for higher quantity orders and mouser.com to be the best for low quantity.
Did D&D performance do any tricks on the inside of the transmission, or is it stock from the factory? Also I see an oil pump for the trans, are you just using the fill and drain ports to remove the oil or is there some sort of spray bar in there?
The car is coming along nice hopefully I will be able to see it in person one day.
Thanks,
Jon
D&D Perf said the TR6060 is good as is.
We are using a Weldon oil pump to run the oil to a cooler and sucking out of the drain and returning into the fill port.

We get most of the connectors from Mouser and some from GM service parts.
I've watched your builds since I joined this site. I figured you had something. I've been planning my Chevelle for 20 something years. you can build more cars than 'I can plan. Thanks for giving us these updates. I learn something everytime I see a post.
From the pictures, it appears that you are running the stock bellhousing, unless that was just for mockup. Is that correct? At the power levels you are making, do you not think you would want something stronger? Or is your opinion that the stock bellhousing would be sufficient in case of a clutch failure?
Also, on your transmission cooler, I don't know what transmission temps are supposed to be, but I think I just read that the Weldon pump is thermostatically controlled. Is that correct, and do you run within that window, or do you control/override it somehow?
Finally, what size lines are you running to/from the trans cooler? I would think that a heavy weight oil like that would need larger lines, but I think I read that the pump is set up for -6AN lines?
