AJ...come on over buddy. I have a freshly coated set of headers I just picked up today. EFI I have the small block 307 stands. I am on Dan's Christmas list this year. It has nothing to do with the rack and high pressure fitting. I am going to try and loosen the rack up so I can move it just enough hoping that once the fitting is threaded it will clear the frame fine.

What the hell. The primaries are bigger than most cars tailpipes.

I was curious about the frame stands because I have a set of the DSE subframe lemons being build right now.
There seems to be alot of clearance between your radiator and water pump, room for big a$$ electric fan motors, something I will be needing as well.

Thanks guys....there really isn't that much room once you get a shroud on it. Definitely just enough room for a dual fan setup.
I ended up having to take the sway bar out and unbolting the rack to get the high pressure fitting on. My only bitch so far with the DSE sub. A little more fitting clearance would be good. But power steering is done now.
Headers are in but need to rearrange some starter wiring. GM really could have designed the starter better. I'll tweak it and it will be just fine. They look good! I think I liked the black a little better but I really need all the heat disipation I can get.
As soon as I get my AC, cross member, and fan situation squared away it's time to set fire to this beast.

yea but they sure do look good all shinny! so you gonna stick with the v-band clamps then.. imo thier a better choice thier quick leak-free and better ground clearance that a 3 bolt...

Wicked!

What's on your list of things to do next week? Looking for an excuse to drive across town.

I actually didn't order the v clamp option but they came with them. I was trying to save a bone or two. Glad he messed up and sent them with them however. It will make it so much cleaner.
May be slow this week. I have some wiring I can button up, but for the most part I am waiting on the parts mentioned. The Vintage Air box keeps me from doing to much under the dash, completing my front wiring, and mounting my dash insert. Not having the crossmember keeps me from cutting the shifter hole, setting up my Z bar, ordering my driveshaft, etc. Maybe I'll just put in a swamp cooler this week.

I hope that swamp cooler is for the garage. Starting to get warm here.
