Thanks alot guys!! I'm really itchin' to drive the car but in a strange way I'm kinda bummed. The process of building/restoring the car is coming to a close and it's been an incredible experience for Trevor and me. Of course, driving the beast is gonna be loads of fun, too. But, I won't be competing at GG Del Mar. D!ck made me promise not to drive it too hard for the first 500 miles. He knows how I drive Jean's Challenger.

Is there a RTTC2 this summer?

I really like the color combination. May I use some of your pictures?

Bryan, we need to teach you and Jean to drive first, and maybe Trevor too, while we're at it. We all know he is doomed to fall in love with speed. There is no way he didn't get those genes. Didn't you tell me you got 19 speeding tickets in a year when you were a kid in Tucson? There are a bunch of shows and events this summer, and we'll make sure to get you over to something, even if it is just a little Good Guys "peanut" autocross up in Pleasanton!

Matt

Thanks.

Certainly, you can use my pics. If you wait a week or so I may even have one with a hood on the car.

Technically, it was Pima county 'cause I lived outside the Tucson city limits. Got to know the entire Sheriffs Dept on a first name basis. And it was my first year of driving. Took me awhile to learn how to slow down that '71 Firebird.

Here's a shot of the fresh air intake in the paint booth. Can't wait to see this installed.

Haven't seen the car in 10 days! Saturday I'll have pictures of the interior. We're going up to see Eric's work.
