I was chatting with Ron about this and had a side shot of both a two seater AMX and a later humpster style. So I did a little tweaking and morphing for him.

Ron, I think this would be the wrong direction for you.

Started shortening the 3" out of the hood. Had to deskin the hood panels, cut the under side of the hood shorter. Then fabricate the new back section of the out of 3/4 x 3/4 angle to the contour of the cowl. Have to make some hinge pockets, and fillers, then put the skin back on.

How far from Newark DE are you? Know you are in Maryland somewhere. Maybe I can help muscle things around and you could teach me something. Followed the Mustang and this build on the PT site, that site is no fun, came here to watch this build.

This place has become too much of a hang out now. LOL I have to park my truck behind the garage just to get anything done (way too much beer drinking and bs flying around here)Truely nothing seems to be getting done.

I wouldn't have built an AMX unless they were Vogue. Anybody that knows me, knows how GQ I am. LOL

There's Beer drinking and hanging out in your garage? I might just have to drive up for some of that!

Finally getting a little time over the long weekend. Got the core support made and bolted down, I've totally given up on the hood, and plan on ordering a fiberglass one. Got the side of the fender welded, and will hopefully get the top done this week.
