Ha, I am only a couple years older then you at 57 years young.

Is the car done ... nope still screwing around with it. But I am getting closer every day. Hopefully I am going to drive it around this weekend and tomorrow.

After you get some miles on it, text me and we can schedule a time review.

Default Temporary Carpet Install (( 04-27-24 ))

I happen to have a Stock Carpet that will be installed for what is left of the summer. Over the
Winter it is going to a local Interior Shop to do a custom carpet install.

Temporary Tape to keep the carpet from shifting.

Test Fitting

Temporary Taped installed.

Default Drivers Door Adjustment (( 05-15-24 )) This is going to Suck

So, The drivers door needs to move forward and I am going to need a second hand. The plan is to get it ready for that 2nd hand.

Pulling the inner fender and moving that back into the attic office.

My overpaid supervisor.

Another while we are here moment.

Now it is neatly attached to the Power Steering hose.

I am going to have to wait for a second person to remove the fender and adjust the door forward.

Removing the headlight bucket and then the inner fender

Inner fender back up in the attic office and can you tell I had daughters.

Default Door Alignment and TMI Seats going in (( 05-27-24 ))

I did the popsicle stick trick to see how far off the door is and labeled the tape with the specific gap at each point.

I brought the TMI Seats up from the basement and either I am getting weak or they are heavy.

I figured this was a good time to vacuum the carpet with the mini shop vac.

Passenger side first.

Default Prepping for the Fender Removal (( 05-30-24 ))

There is so much that has to be removed just to adjust the drivers door one popsicle stick forward. I think these Fender braces are from Ride-Tech and I love how they look.

Thankfully I installed a nutsert which makes this task much easier.

All of this has to come off

Anyone remember who made these ??

Here we go. (( Part 1 )) Pre-Taco's

It's off and now the hard part begins.

One hour later...we are still trying to get the door aligned.
