Dam Jim. I don't think there is anything on your build that isn't stellar. Including your dam floorboards.

Thanks guys. Eric, on the road next summer? LOL Maybe if I win the lotto or I'm towing it somewhere.

Finished welding in the rear floors. I'm happy with the result. Perfect 1/4 gap on either side of the frame. It was actually a complete pain in the ass. The original floors are very thin metal and it was hard to contort myself into a good welding position while still being able to see through the mask. (or propping the pedal up on the firewall).

Trunk floor is next. Trying to decide spare tire location. Off to one side makes the most sense in terms of maximizing trunk space but I also think it would be neat to display it by tilting it up and centering it in the trunk. Hmmmm...

Finally accomplished something on the 57! As mentioned, I'm re-doing a few things I've already done once, or twice.

I first made the turbo system by modifying 2010 camaro cast steel manifolds, which I was happy with until the new ZL1's came out with cast stainless manifolds, so I had to rebuild them. Fixtured the first set so I didn't have to start from scratch as far as placement of the flanges. This thick stainless is not easy to work with but they are finally (roughly) finished.

Still need tons of sanding as I plan to have the manifolds/turbine housings/downpipes polished.

Awsome work! Can you show some before and after pics of the stainless camaro manifolds?
