Have you looked at the forgeline rb3c? I've got them for my 69. Can't wait til it's back but the few times I've seen them I think they look awesome.

Sweet build you've got going mate. Hope to read the rest of your thread shortly.

Cheers

Just ordered an autorad radiator w/ everything. Having then integrate twin intercooler setup that will work with the factory hood latch and support the power I'm looking for. This will all be painted black to fit with the understated theme.

Yep need to get around to changing the project titles. After this week my project has finally developed a name.

"Might as well"

Started te project as a budget $20-30k build...After getting full DSE and the paint job, I keep blowing the budget with every "small" change. I have no regrets at all as I want to build it the way I want regardless if budget or timeframe. I have said "might as well" before just about every expensive upgrade!

Yep,I know the feeling. Mine started out as a pretty simple build that escalated as well. Seems like every time I visit Tim I dig myself in deeper. He has way to many great ideas brewing in that head of his! Maybe I need to start bringing my wife with me to keep me under control when I visit. By the way, your car looks awesome! Can't wait to see it finished.

Thanks. Which car is yours?

At this point I'm gimping we have the car to a point it can maybe go to autorama as a "project" phase display for their booth. Not sure they'll have room with all the other badass projects they have going though!!!

Ok so a couple updates since the last post.

Got something else being built now. Decided if I was going to make big power, I wanted big cooling ability. I went with Autorad who builds custom setups for pro-touring cars.

I'm going with their core support w/ 950hp+ radiator setup (2x 1.5" tube setup), condenser, oil cooler, closeout panels, and two SPAL 14" fan w/ shroud. The trick part to this setup is we asked them if they could integrate twin intercooler setup for the TT setup I'm going with and they have already done one that fits my bill! Running twin Air to Air intercoolers and brackets made to mount and setup to clear the stock hood latch mechanism. I will be anodizing everything so it's not as noticeable behind the grille.

Now for some pics of the radiator stuff and the setup they're building for me!

This is a nova but same center section. You can see the difference in available area for air to pass through and additional radiator size!

It comes with very nice closeout panels to make sure the air goes where you want it.

Mine is being built just like this one but with an oil cooler setup as well!

Build time is 7 weeks so not expecting this till the end of April. Turbos etc should be here this week. I'll get some photos of course when they arrive!
