Nessy ----- he should have just turned the whole project over to you and I to manage.

I personally would find a way to "highlight" those floors with some kind of "rubber" mat and carpet.... or something that would contrast without showing scuffing (from his size 20's) a sort of yin/yang thing - hard and soft - flat and textured.....

Matte cleared or light painted cream non dynamat floors & exposed trans tunnel also matte cleared or light painted cream - aluminum/rubber panel/driver/passenger foot rests and custom black leather floor mats.

Kinda like this Singer/gussied up 911 cup interior or (recoil ring chevelle sans skeletal airline seats) but where everything you see brown (in porsche pic) is black instead and everything you see blue is matte cleared bare metal or painted light cream (keeping original riv black seats of course)

Sure it’ll be hot, but really cool. At every stop just lift the leather floor mats and count the ooohs and aaahs.

Damn shame to dynamat and carpet that metal work. I'm sure magoo will still screw up wheel choice tho...

Matt made a simple jig for measuring seat travel. Seat frame edge trimmed to give 3/8" clearance to exhaust tunnel

Is 3/8" enough with carpet and padding?

3/8" side clearance to the tunnel. Carpet and pad won't make any difference.
