We got the motor back in and fired up this weekend. There's nothing quite like the sound of open headers at 7k rpm. This was an older camera of mine and it doesn't even close to capturing the sound of this thing.

New power steering pump from PSC. Looks like a very nice piece.

Just need to mount the forward bars, breed blakes, mount wheels/tires, e-brake cables, and then ready to put some road miles on it.

One thing we are pretty excited about was we are almost certain that previously it never saw full throttle because of the throttle linkage setup. It wasn't even close to wide open with full pedal mash. Like a 1/2" off. So the 500 miles I put on this previously might have been at a significantly lower power level than its potential. That would be sweet.

If we can, we are going to try to make the Marina autoX next weekend.

Sick Dave! Glad to see things are coming back together.
You were only getting half throttle before ?!??! oh my....

Hey did you ever figure out what that thing is pressing up against your brake master cylinder? Just curious.

Hope to see it again soon.

Thanks J! Yeah, I don't know if we were getting 3/4 throttle or what, but it sure doesn't add up that we ever had near full, so this could be fun.

Near the MC... you referring to the proportioning valve? I don't remember....

That sounds awesome! You've probably mentioned it on the thread somewhere, but I'm being lazy what mufflers are you using?
