If you have read this thread - you know that I had a MaxJax lift installed in my old house. I brought that lift here to my new house and I have already used it.

My first project was the Brembo upgrade on the SS - and had no problems with it.

With my upcoming winter/long term project on the Vette - I needed to make a change. I removed the hydraulic pump/electrical assembly from the little power cart that came with the MaxJax - and put it on the wall - up and out of the way. This freed up more floor space - plus saves me from having to bend at an awkward angle. I had to order another 18' of hydraulic hose - but that will be here tomorrow. I will get that new hose install and rebleed the system tomorrow. I might start on the fuel pump swap on the Vette - but I think this upcoming week will fill up. If not I will start on it when I get back from SEMA.

I just finished reading through your thread. You've been busy over the last few years and have some very cool project vehicles! It was very nice to meet you at the DSE Open House and I look forward to following the progress of the supercharger installs.

It has been quite a journey with my cars - I looked back at my thread today and realized I've been wanting that blower for 5+ years - that starts soon!

I really encourage you to start up a build thread! Lets see that Nova!

Not much of an update - I am still waiting on that hydraulic hose to show up so that I can use the lift.

I painted 2x11 and 2x4's that are holding up the power cart and some tools and parts arrived.

I found a guy selling some LSA parts - idler bracket and pulleys and the LSA purge solenoid.

I also ordered a valve spring compressor tool - as well as a spark plug compression testing thing to hold the valves shut while I swap valve springs.

Since I am about to drop my fuel tank and install a ZR1 fuel pump - I decided to put the Vette up on the lift and check my clearance with the garage door fully up.

I've had it in the air before - but never tested out the door being open. I nudged it up there until I could get the safety bars in place on the lift.

It fits - but barely. No way will the SS fit up in the air with the door open I would have to get a high lift door conversion for that.

My buddy had a garage guy add a small section of rail so his door would run closer to the ceiling(for his lift). No door changes needed. Looks like you already have the correct style door opener for it. He said it did not cost much $.

ditto as I did the same. My door is about 4" down from the ceiling and my garage door opener actually sits on the ceiling.

They have a high lift door conversion kit that you swap into the rails that you have - that might be a long term project whenever I decide to throw the LSA onto the SS - but for now it will be fine.
