Ron,

I hope you get this latest issue sorted. Missed you at SOWS earlier this week but man I can relate to sorting issues. My car still isn't totally sorted yet either. A project I thought would take 6 months and instead 3.5 years...

Damn hot rods. It sure was fun to drive it on the track again though! Forgot how much fun that is.

Hey Ron, I've been through a lot on the crank case psi issue with mine. I've tried a few different catch cans and this and that, but worked best was 2 -12 lines from the valve covers to Moroso breather cans mounted behind the front tires. The Art Morrison sub has the perfect spot for them. Not sure how this would work with a dry sump set up. I bought 2 of the black plastic oil fill caps from O'reilys, tapped them with a 3/4" npt tap then plumbed it up. I was planning on ditching the cheap caps once it proved to work but have never got around to it.
Check out the second to the last page on my build for some pics.

^ look at these two intelligent human beings hanging out at a shop racing 100s of laps on a mini bike instead of working on their $100k cars in order to get out on a real track.

And then posting proof on the internet? I am truly proud to call you my friends!

Get real GW. Go back and check the start dates of their build threads. 09 and 07, respectively.

(although I'm no better )

Update time! So many killer builds going on and SEMA coming up, it's a great time of the year

Since my last adventure, I had gotten the rear main seal and the pressure side of the rack fixed. Steering felt heavy which I really prefer, and next up was a few checks to make sure my motor was breathing properly. Spoke to QMP Racing, Mike Norris and a few others. Took the valve cover oil fill cap off – no vacuum. Took the Norris can off, less than an ounce of oil in the can. Took the lines off and ran the car, no excessive vacuum or oil burp. Took the Peterson breather off, same deal. This motor is breathing as it should I think.

After my last Auto-X I had also done a few other changes to the car. I felt like after all this, there’s gotta be more handling in the car or we’ve all been snookered by these high dollar PT parts! I had my subframe modified to get more positive caster. I also set my camber at -2* with .5* gain per inch (max two inches in compression); again thanks to David Pozzi and Matt Jones at AME. I also upped the spring rates front and rear and reset my swaybars. Lastly as I had mentioned, new Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Just an edumacated guess these changes would help!
