I've seen the Speed-Tech sub frame in person on Tony's car, KARMA and was very impressed. I thought it looked killer. I am going to do the Speed-Tech subframe and rear as well for sure if I cannot afford to go DSE.
For will69camaro; I do believe Tony is running a supercharger on his car so it may fit under the hood without any worries.
Very nice sub frame. ENJOY!!!

You're welcome. Just calling it as I see it.
I LOVE the KILLER '69 Camaro as well. One of my many faves.

Does the speedtech frame lower the engine any? There is a possibility of running a blower on my car and I really want it to fit under a stock cowl hood.

Maybe not the right area to ask but we're discussing the speedtech frame so worth a shot!

William

p.s. That frame looks NICE!
If you were to get me some measurements from the block top to the top of the blower i can put our mock up together and let you know how much room there is. but i can tell you it is low, the ATS oil pan is about 3/8 above the rack. check with Project Evade's owner Bill as his is installed and he has a stock CF cowl hood he may be able to give you a faster answer.

I am using the stock LT1 f-body bracket that mounts all accessories on the pass side head and then the standard SBC ProCharger kit that mounts it high on the DS head.

The LT1 ProCharger bracket mounts it too low, you would have to notch the frame in order to use it.

Here's a mock up pic.

did you have to do anthing special to space the bracket out? Doesnt the procharger set out further on the lt1 than the sb?
