Tell GMP how to build the next Streetfighter!

Two more quick ones off the top of my head. May have already missed the deadline at this point, but the thread's still open so what the heck.

1. Cortez Silver w/ black (or even dark grey-different) bumblebee stripe. LS2 w/ blacked out engine bay. Blacked out grill. No wipers or door handles. Side mirrors and spoiler (front and rear). Any of the 3 wheels with dark centers OR Kinesis K58's with brushed centers. Hood B. Street Fighter interior.

2. Factory yellow with vinyl top. Same options as above.

Okay, here is an updated version of my original thought. Looks much better now, IMO...

Mirrors - NO
Doorhandles - NO
Chrome Window Trim - YES
Full Length Exhaust
572 BB
Wheels - K58's brushed alum.
Street Fighter Interior - w/o Console (Black w/ chrome accents)
Ducktail Spoiler- YES
Sidemarkers - YES
Front Lower Valance - Yes

Paint: Main color, dark apple green met. (pearl?) for the main color, stripes would be only on the sides, following the upper body line 2"-3" lower, coming to a point at each end, the two colors would be seperated by the edges of the hood, and trunklid for the front and back since the stripes are limited to the sides, The ducktail spoiler would be all green. The sides would be a bright silver. Front lower valance would be satin black.

GMP would like to thank everyone for your input and we're happy to see that there's a lot of passion for G-Machines in ALL scales!
I'm going to print out these pages with all the comments and look them over. Then I'll give Scott a call and go over them with him.
With that we can determine which tooling options seemed to be the most prominent and based off of the input and discussion with Scott. I will also share the input with the guys here at GMP.
I will be sending the Project specifications start-up package in the next day or two to get the program rolling.

The next step is deciding on the paint scheme. I will look over the suggestions, talk to Scott about them and any ideas he has and then review all of this information in next Tuesday's meeting with the rest of ther guys here at GMP. We may even want to narrow it down to 3 paint schemes and Scott could post a poll.

Since GMP has the tooling set up to do many of the suggestions mentioned, would it be possible for someone to special order one to their own specific taste?

I for one would be very interested in one that reflected the direction of my own personal project, and would be more than happy to pay a premium for your hassle to build it.

It this a possibility?

Since our project usually take a long time to build and are not on the inexpensive side to create, I bet there are several that would love to have, "Their", own car made up to tide them over until the completion date is reached.

Please say, "YES!"

I have the last one you put out and really like it, but as I look at it, I try to imagine it with what I want my project to look like.

Can you see how cool this would be?

Hey all,

I've been in contact with Scott in finalizing the tooling details on the Later-g 1968 Camaro. The factory is working on the first shot tooling sample and this program is still in the early stages. I will let you guys know what details we can release as far as this program goes. Much of the input from the post and input from Scott was taken into consideration.

As far as doing one-off customs, we would love to be able to do something like that but we do not have the capabilities to produce one-of-one creations. I honestly don't know of any diecast company who'd be able to make one-offs custom taylored to one collector's specifications. It would be cool though! I do however know a reputable diecast painter/customizer who can make any diecast car look just like somebody's actual car. His name is Paul and he used to do a lot of the photo-pieces for Franklin Mint back in the day. These photo pieces were painted and assembled by Paul and other outside contractors to make one model that would look just like the real production piece for promotional photos and packaging art. Many times these samples looked better than production.
