Thanks Guys! We'll see what's next after I get the 555 together.

I like the idea of having 2 sets of wheels and tires and being able to change the look quickly!

SLOOOOOW!

Have most of the parts necessary to put it together, just need to find some time to do it now! I hope to get it running before winter and at least drive it a little!

Beautiful car.
I have a 70 big & little, going on 20 years.
I had the same questions over a year ago, whether to convert or not.
I decided to modify to further enhance its original purpose.
BUT I didn't have a cool auto cross track open up just down the street either !!
You can change it up way cheaper than starting another project with something else. I'd be switching over in a heartbeat.
Not sure if you'd have to switch to a road race oil pan or not.
I know it was important in my 1/4 mile vs roundy round motors.
I think you'll be getting a ton more seat time in your baby and that's what it's all about.

Well it's running!! Took WAY too long to build it, install it and get it running! Still need to fine tune it, but it RUNS!!!

Also put some new wheels on it, stuck with the big and littles.

Sorry for the crappy pics, I'll get some better ones taken and post them up.
