The Hidden - great bumper cam action. Not a well known movie, but a great chase scene.

Original Gone in 60 Seconds - what is great about it is it's all "for real" in that they did not get any permits, block any roads, use movie cars for extras or get any permission for shooting the chase in the '73 Mustang. When he is hauling around the LA South Bay and flying up either the 110 or 710, that is actual traffic of people commuting home from work! People commenting to the "media" were actually commenting to movie people capturing responses of everyday citizens freaking out. When he clips the car on the freeway and shoot up the off ramp and flat T-bones that Mustang on the pole - all real, no stunt work! He hit that pole at something around 100 mph, fires the car back up and keeps going. Old Mustangs rule!

It is also my understanding when he destroys the dealership that he simply told the dealer he was going to shoot a movie scene there and the owner thought it would be great advertising - so when the first thing that happens was to plow into a row of brand new cars, the owner came completely unglued and you can see him running around the garage screaming - that is all real, not acting. While it is a bit sh!tty how those individuals were treated, it makes for an amazing chase scene!

Otherwise the movie is a bit of a bore haha.

the Bourne movie with the mini. I like chases that seem like a really good driver could actually do start to finish and that one is mostly believable. Actually most everything in the Matt Damon Bourne movies has a "believable" feel to them so I really like all three of them.

:hijack:
Kristi gets really irritated every time one is on TV because I have to watch it, and I have the set on DVD! I typically don't get into watching a movie more than once but there are a few movies that are like that. Ronin was mentioned here, I will watch that one if it is on. Pulp Fiction never gets old.

Default Movie Car Chases

Dirty Mary Crazy Larry. That whole movie was a car chase. Need for Speed in DETROIT....my hometown. It sucks the way they describe Detroit with the street directions going the wrong way. The opening race scene was pretty good.
