Used those A LOT when I was a pyro.... we'd cover the mortar boxes with plastic. I put a couple of those staples in my wrist... by that time in the build my hands and arms hurt so much I hardly noticed. LOL
I got some tennis elbow from that thing, its heavier than my hammer!
Well progress is slow but it is still progress. All I have left to do is tape drywall (ugh) paint, finish hanging fixtures, hang heater, and blow insulation in ceiling. Then I can work on the car!
I like the ceiling too, it is a lot lighter than rock, no taping, sanding, painting. I am not coating the floor this year, I want to get going on the car so it is done by late spring of 16 ( I hope)
The shop is 95% complete need to do window and door trim and hang a few cabinets, then I can get going to get going on the Camaro. I will never do sheetrock again.
Thanks Greg, doing it myself (minus taping) took a lot longer than I thought.I am pooped, but can't wait to get going on car. Your house is coming along, it looks great, awesome view.
Kevin
Looks great! Congrats on getting it basically finished! Now get to work on the car! LOL
Oh and don't worry about not liking to do drywall...I hear it often! As I own a drywall business. LOL
Knowledge of installing it would have been helpful 41' walls, now I have one wall with vertical cracks at the joints in one location from floor to ceiling. I am now repairing it with the expansion joint metal. It never ends.
