The last 1st Gen that I saw for around $7,500 (running or not) around here looks like THIS . If I could buy that one for even $10K I would be all over it .

Don't get upset just because I didn't agree with your $7,500 appraisal. I would buy those cars all day long at that price.

S.R. = steve rupp... lol steve you need to get a sweet red robe with gold embriodered S.R. to wear around the office

apparently he doesent like when someone disagrees with him...
i agree its not a 40K car but by no means is it a "TURD"...
i need to move to where your from so i could find a car like that for $7500...

I'm very critical when judging the quality of workmanship that's been performed on a car. This is what I see in the photos posted on this site.
The car is said to be number matching restored. Number match maybe.
restored not even close.
Underhood-medium blue paint in many wrong places. Wiper system gone.
inner fenderwell bolts missing both sides. Non original colors everywhere.
hacked up wiring & cheap chrome everywhere. hood not fit to close properly
Interior- console pieces missing. Hang on gauges. Blue overspray in door
jams on latches, lite switches and kick panel trim. Doorlock buttons gone.
Outside- Front bumper twisted and bolts missing. Motorcycle horns shining thru grill. Headlite doors tacky. big dent in right rear lower corner. Back
window trim hammered & loose. Back bumper is lumpy and wavy. 6 or 7
holes chiseled into upper trunkseal channel. Inside trunk is a mess. Blue &
spatter paint on latch. Blue wheel tubs. That's what I can see from 1500
miles away. The cost for me to do a quality restoration on every thing I've
pointed out would be 30,000.00$ minimum. If this is the kind of work You
Guys are willing to accept at todays Shop Rates,I'm working way too hard
to please. Sorry, that's the way I see it.You don't have to aggree.

I don't think anyone here thought the car was a concours restoration. The point was $7500 doesn't buy much anymore in a first gen, so even with all the flaws you pointed out that is a very low appraisal.
