I'm glad it all worked out for you Steve and Penny is alive and well once again. Look forward to seeing it @ SEMA. Love the seats also. I'm thinking about running those in the 55...That is if I ever get it done!

Steve, I dropped off the gauge panels for Scott's party at your office today. You were not around so I left them with the girl up front.

Thanks, I will bring them to the lat-g SEMA party!

I can't tell you how nice it is the see the car getting fixed. Today the tank went in and the new brakes went on. new glass is in and the tail-lights along with the Larry gas cap were installed. Getting close. Sometime next week she goes for interior work (not much) then the best alignment money can buy.

Can someone tell me why I shouldn't drive the damn thing to SEMA? Seriously, I hate f'ing trailers... it's only 250 miles.. through nothing.. that's hardly a half tank of gas. lol

Default State Farm is a good company

ranked #1 in claims paying last year by JD Powers. How do I know...I am a State Farm agent.

How dirty can a car get drving 250 miles with no rain? Tape up the front and lower fenders and do a mini Cannonball run. What is the record? Would make a cool story as well.

I got spooked by the "What happens if some 2x4 falls off a truck and hits the car, then Wilwood will be screwed" scenarios people kept tossing out.

Default Conundrum ???

The car guy in me says: drive the hell outta it back and forth...

But, the responsible business guy in me says: do what you need to do to ensure you meet your sponsors obligations and don't leave them hanging if you aren't positive you'll get it there as promised.

AND THEN - drive the hell outta it on the way home...

Responsibility - what a drag. You'll do the right thing.

Best o Luck and enjoy the show !!
