I was being sarcastic LOL.
I know there are alot of these types.
There is some old lady 2 miles from my shop that has a 1967 camaro SS under a rotting, ripped grey tarp. I moved here 7 years ago and noticed it back then. Its since had 3 grey tarps replaced. I was warned by friends not to go knock on the door... "been there done that" sort of thing. Story is her son was killed back in the 70's and the car has sat since then in the same spot.
Its under a tree on pavers with 4 flats. I came up with a great sad story to befriend this "old lady" and went to the door one day. I got up to the stoop and read a sign next to the doorbell that read "car not for sale, dont ask".
I never did ring the bell.... damn !

I know....it made me sick just staring at those cars.

I dont know what the hell he's thinking. I kept telling him they arent worth a dime if you never sell them !!!! I think its some form of ego thing to have all of those cars that everyone would die to have. Its a "look what I have and you cant have any !!" " I may never do anything with them, but you still can't have them". Maybe he's waiting for that "golden opportunity" that usually never comes

The guy was real nice and personable....but in a used car salesman type of way. Lots of "I built this and made this deal for this car, and sold that car", blah blah blah... He would talk your ear off too. One of those guys that even as you start to walk away he keeps talking. Nice but I kept feeling like "give me a break.."

Those cars will be there until he dies.... I'm convinced of that. Then his family or the bank will sell them off...at least whats left of them after they keep rotting.

I know it was kind of cruel to post these pix and keep the location secret, but sorry..... just cant do it right now...give me a couple of months after the guys forgets about me and we'll see. If it got out now, he would know it was me.... and I might need him. Now that he knows me, maybe I can weasle some stuff from him

He wont sell it... I asked....about 10 times

We did move the yellow/black car to be in one of the shots...... the car hasnt moved in over 20 years. You should have seen them yanking on it with the forklift...I was waiting for the entire front subframe to come flying out. I was cringing and gritting my teeth the entire time. They finally got it moved without any major damage.

My 5 year old son was with us....we kept telling him it was Bumblebee and maybe if he talked to it, he would transform for him....it was really cute when he kept telling the car he knew where the "allspark cube" was located

Sad to see this type of stuff of happening. The guys needs to have the **** slapped out of him for thinking he is going to restore that many camaros. Just give up and sell them off, Then they can go to good homes and be restored to as new condition or turned into pro touring cars. I would rather see a SS convertible converted into a pro touring car then just sit and rott away. (DREAM camaro= 69 ZL1)

HOWEVER. This should be a crime, what this guy is doing. There is a massive difference between cutting cars up and letting them ROT. What possible reason could he have? I have a friend with a Supercharged 57 T-Bird that says it is his kid's college fund. That makes sense. This, I don't know?
It is always frustrating to see people who have something you want and don't respect it, don't deserve it, or don't care....
The only good news it that things rust slowly out here in SoCal... I know where this place is, but I'm sworn to secrecy.. it's a good photo shoot location.

fine, i'll just google earth it and look for the parking lot set back in the early 70's. I mean thats alot of Z stripes in one area.

Is a shame cause they will all rust away.

We got a bunch of these guys around here too.
