I'm to the point where I don't care who makes then as long as they got them in stock. so many venders say they can do something then leave you hanging for weeks, days, even years. I try my best to be fateful, but bottom line if it's holding up the build I have to move on. I have been waiting for two years for RS back up lights and ended up getting an after market set from Ricks. They look good but really don't match my billett tail lights.
Keep up the great work Chris.

Have a good one.
Your Right, There probably isn’t any patent work for Marquez tail lights, door strikers, turn signals, or Ring Brothers hood hinges. But don’t you think these parts remarkably similar???? If people want to hide behind “Our taillights have been done for several years but we were not in the parts business then. We are now and times have changed and I know as well as Marquez if you don’t keep people and dealers happy someone else will.” I guess that is the answer. I am sorry for using the word copy, perhaps reproduction is a better choice of words.

I was referring to the door strikers only. Tail lights and other parts are not what started this thread. Their are a variety of manufacturers for the same type parts and where they are purchased from is up to the individual. The only problem I had was you blasted him with both barrells over flippen door strikers.

Those look good. I think I will get a set also. IMO these are commodity type products and on door strikers, Marquez did not event them.....I think Ralph Nadar did. Maybe he should be mad. Sure Marquez made them in billet but I would think others had done it also. I can see how people would look at it like a copy as his (Marquez)were promoted on this board first. In the big picture the first guy to make billet wheels could not have expected to be the sole source for such wheels. Competition is good for the consumer and both companies in this thread make what look like quality parts

Reproduction is not the right answer and if you think we just sit around and copy peoples parts you have no idea what goes into building them. So for all the stuff that I have that no one else makes who did I copy there. I have way more hinges on hand in many different applications and had the 2nd Gen Camaro and Nova shipping before Ring so did I copy that as well? There are only so many ways a hinge, taillight, markter light or striker fit. Right?

correct. Let's get back on track, this thread is about some new items Fesler has for sale, it is not about who invented what. We are all lucky we have as many vendors as we do coming out with these cool items.

I don't know how you could possibly make a set of strikers that look any different.. It's like how many different ways can you make a phillips head screw?

lol

I have to agree with this statment... to make a piece to work with OEM tolerance have to be the same as stock, and Marquez and Fesler and who ever else probly based THEIR designs off the factory GM piece so they would be an EXACT bolt on. this isnt the aerospace industry where nothing bolts up (because no airplane uses all the same parts or are exact copys of each other)... this is the automotive industry... higher tolerances to make parts work with one vehicle to the next.. any one who works in manufacturing or is a machinist will understand where im comming from.

and to the people who continue to **** on Fesler products and Chris him self... you are the type of people who give car guys a bad name and ruin it for the rest of us. Now shut up and stop this BS.
