I've driven a car with one before; it works rather well and allows you to put the shifter in a more suitable location. It's more of a form over function piece for me though as in real life it looks like you didn't plan things out right and this shifter was a "fix" for that.
The shift feel is still quite good but going through the additional linkage it does lose a bit of feel and gains a little more slop. The perceived change in feel & slop are very slight compared to having the stick right on the tranny; it still shifts & feels very good.
If I had to choose between a long & dog legged shift lever to put the shifter where I wanted it and the Restomod "extender" I'd choose the extender; unlike the huge dogleg shift handle it won't increase the shift throws.
Oh, and FYI... if you have access to some machine tools you can build your own very inexpensively with some aluminum and heim joints.

No kidding? Very cool. I did call them on Friday but the guy I talked to had never driven a car using the shifter, which I thought was a little strange.
I do have the option of sending the trans back to Keisler and they can put the shifter position wherever i want it basically. I am leaning toward doing that as I really do prefer a straight stick shifter handle.
And I have absolutely zero skills, tools, machines, etc.
