I visited your booth on 3 occasions during the show only to receive the attitude that has been referred to in this post. My opinion after speaking with you personally and two of your people is the name of your company should immediately be changed to "Legends in Our Own Minds".

If anyone was as good as you all asserted you were and all of the competition was as bad as you took the time to mention you would be in every hall of fame in the business and build 90% of the custom cars in the country.

After seeing your two cars this year and several cars in prior years I only have a couple questions:

1. Why do you never show a completely finished car?
2. Do you not consider fit and finish important ?

I have never seen gaps and finish in a quality show car like the Nova. Is it a new thing to see inside the trunk with the lid closed? Why don't you show the car with the doors open? you could avoid highlighting the 1/2" gap in door front vs. the 1/4" in the rear or the 1/4" variance from top to bottom. Trim throughout the car is also meant to fit flush and tight. Although, please keep in mind these are minor things I look at when I am having a car built or buying parts.

The Mustang isn't far off but I didn't spend as much time on that one.

You should spend more time with your fabricators on quality than editorializing on the web. I guess there is always Wyotech.

100% TRUTH!

I talked to Chris at the sema show and he just seemed a little cocky and barely interested in my questions even though I was the only one in the booth at the time. I just chocked that up to the fact that I look young and am young as is my business. The problem with this is even though that's the case, I have a customer that I have already sold on some parts specifically from Fesler because I wanted to support the vendors on this site. When I asked about the certain products that were actually at the show, there was hardly motivation for an answer to my questions. Even when I gave him another chance and asked a different way I got a less motivated answer. I figured he was tired of dealing with B.S.ers and young'uns, but I left feeling like I maybe needed to buy somewhere else. Mind you I really look up to companies like Fesler, Squeege's, Ironworks, etc. because I hope to be at that level someday. It's sorta like the feeling like an older sibling made fun of you in front of their friends. I would not have said anything to anyone about this, but this thread deserves this input. By a business perspective, I'm just a little guy but everyone I met at the show was beyond nice, JF Lanier, the guys from Killer Customs and all at the party, and everyone at the Lat-g party, etc but this was the one exception.

What is interesting to me is how hot or cold a lot of the comments are. People either love or hate Chris and his company. It seems like the word "cocky" has come up more than once and that is the one thing that sticks out in my mind from this post along with my limited personal experience with him and his company.

I'll say this.....Fesler Built certainly evokes strong emotions, be they good or bad, from all concerned!

I wasn't at sema unfortunately and I dont know about what bs is goin around but I have said it before and I will say it again, Fesler has been comin out with some of the coolest products lately.

I am not sure about what products are in question but how many ways can you build a hood hinge and still have it work properly. or a tail light and still have it fit properly.

like I said I dont know all of the details but it may just be your taking too much of the market share

Default Just wondering

Why with a crew of 7 it was difficult to handle both the dealer inquires and good ole customer relations.

I don't know anything about this situation but I read though most of it and that question dawned on me.

This is exactly what I am talking about, YOU ARE RIGHT FIT AND FINISH and I think I have stated my two cents about that enought. We only had 4 days into both cars sorry we could not please you. I bring what I want to SEMA to show work I dont really care if you think we can or can not finish a car. You must be talking about the wrong booth.

This is the kind of stuff that you guys just start running with and making it worse. I have a crew over 10 and had 7 guys in Vegas at anytime. I had over 8 cars there with going between meetings, cars, venders and so on so as you can see from a business owner its difficult to please everyone out there. As I stated before we dont have time to BS at a show like this and it obviously upset some people and for that I am sorry but I am not going to SEMA to make friends I am going to get sales......

Good luck with that. I suggest you hire a face person and stay off the boards.
But I don't see your attitude reflective of that wisdom

Cocky I am and obviously it offends alot of guys but I am here to build cars, make bitchen parts and live my life. If I talked to 1000 people and 5 are upset I apologiezed to you guys but for some reason that is not good enough.

I was told by several to not post this up but I dont run from problems I try to fix them. I did this post to first tell the ones that felt we did not treat them right we were sorry, to the guys that did not get the time they wanted we were sorry. If we talked to someone wrong we were sorry.

Its a show we are working we get tired after 14 hour days for 3 months straight. I had a lot of cars at SEMA not just the two in my booth so please stop saying we dont finish anything. I will always have a car at a show in the half stage so everyone can see whats under everything.

I think if you look at our magazine history we finish plenty of cars and or fit and finish is beautiful IMHO. If you guys dont like it there is nothing I can do and I understand that. Just sick and tired of haters that have nothing better to do then to run their mouth about stuff they dont know or understand.
