Ugh...I don't know how you can frequent a forum with so much garbage in the signature blocks. There's like 2 full sentences of content on each page and 100 lines of pictures of LOL Catz and cheezy animation.

Sadly this doesn't surprise me....I've seen and met some REALLY stupid people over the years. I once had a kid call me and ask me how to get out a broken valve cover bolt and figuring he had just overtightened it I told him and he called me back and thanked me.....a little while later he called back again and said "Help, me I broke another one!"....I asked him what he was doing and he then said "I'm torqing them to spec" to which I replied "WHAT! and just what "Spec" is that....he said "90 ft/lbs".....I then said "Put the tools down and back away from the car!!!". This idiot was using a torque wrench trying to tighten the poor little 1/2 X 20 bolts into the valve covers.

Even funnier was a week later he called me and asked me why his valve cover gaskets were leaking!!!

Then we had a local guy with an '85 IROC Camaro who had this solution for his transmission mount.....I guess chevy guys CAN be that ignorant.

This same guy claimed that his car would do 213MPH

It goes on and on...I've got a file of pictures as well that I call my "F-stick files".

I am a member on that forum but i stay in the classic part.I hope that is a joke but i have seen worse done.A friend of mine had a rear main leaking so he filled the gap between the tranny and engine with jb weld it stopped leaking so he thought he fixed it.2 weeks later the clutch went out and guess who had to fix it.Took me a while to cut out the jb weld i cussed him for days.2nd dumbest thing i seen was a driver side half shaft on a 89 civic.I broke my strong arm trying to get the nut off even my impact the nut laughed at me so i cut it off.Find out someone welded the half shaft to the hub it was too short so they welded it in so it couldn't pop out.Seen a cracked valve covered fixed with bondo.I can go on for days about stupid things people do to cars not nothing better.
