I've really noticed alot of the 69 and 70's getting more attention lately. I dont know why it took so long to catch on, they are one of the most sleek body styles ever built IMO. This car was definitly bada$$. It will be interesting to see what Ring Bros does with the 70 they're building now.
Totally agreed,the 1969-70 bodystyle is the pinnacle of design at Ford IMHO,nothing before or after ever came close.

The car was finished at the Grand Touring Garage in Oregon. Super nice guy. Fast Eddie down in Orange CA did quite a bit of the fab work (I've got under construction pics from Ed's shop in my computer, just need to find them). It's one of our MaxG chassis, and someone else's suspension grafted on. Engine is an NOS Cammer crate motor!
The reason why it didn't run at Optima was that it is a brand new car, bugs aren't worked out and owner (Hong Kong) wasn't there. It has been invited to come back and run at the 2010 Optima Challenge. Car is also slated to run SilverStateClassic.
This car also won the GranTurismo Award and will be placed into GranTurismo. We'll all get a chance to thrash it!
