I am actually scheduled to go see one for sale here locally on Sunday and hopefully test drive it. It's a 72 and he's asking $13k. Reading your post makes me more excited to go see it.

That 911 you encountered must have not had the driver mod installed yet.

Send me the pix/info, I would love to see it. Price sounds about right as long as its a nice car. It amazes me how many classic Mini's are on the market in the entire US at any given time. They truly are rare little beasts.

I don't think the 911 owner gave me a second look until I passed him. Subtle fast little critters they are.

I think everyone should ride in one/drive one at least once

I'd take the big one for the ROAD... and the "we one" for the TRACK...

I think black was the better color choice, exactly for the reason brought up in that pic. Grey cars tend to blend in with the road, and with the size of SUVs and trucks these days, the likelyhood of getting sideswiped by some idiot would have been much higher in a grey car.

So what's the spec on the mini? It looks mean as hell.

Dane, I don't want to see a post on here next saying you are selling the Camaro because the Mini will do it all---even if your lap times are faster with it.

BTW, your former DD looks awesome---

That thing looks killer. Glad you got the black.
