Tride to pull the AN fitting off and it broke off in the trans. Wanna buy a car cheap!!!!

In that case, I'd remove the fittings and make sure the sealing surfaces are flat and clean.

I was able to get it out with a easy out. Lucky!!! there is no o rings, this is a 45 swivel ans it uses a brass bushing. what did I do wrong? I'll get new fittings tomorrow

Your fitting doesn't line up with you threads??? The copper sealing washer is not be compressed on either side. Is you fitting tweaked?

I got to go to bed, but I'm glad I got it out ok. I'll call you tomorrow if your not busy. I need to get new fittings anyway. Any suggestions?

Check with the guys Godman fittings. I've used the on my 4L60E/LS1 swaps. Used a liittle teflon sealent paste on the threads just to be sure. Zero problems. Also used Lokar trans dipsticks with zero leaks.

Could be that the front pump seal dried out during storage or may not have been replaced on the rebuild. If its leaking from there it would weep out of the inspection cover and coat the pan with fluid making it look as if it was coming from say the dip stick inlet.
Throw that bad boy on the lift and have someone start it while you look from underneath. That way you're not guessing.
