Word^^...those cars are so creative and historically important,I cannot believe guys here say they've never seen or heard of them.

I remember when I worked for I Magnin in the Carmel Plaza back in the very early 80's and I had just gotten finished reading an Autoweek magazine and in those days,they'd feature some old classic on the last page.Well this issue was on the 2000GT...the very next day BAM...there's a white one in the underground parking lot! I was all over that car like white on rice...I'll never forget that day!

Those panels behind the front tires are hinged doors that fold down. Drivers side is the air cleaner and a fluid reservoir and passenger side is battery access.

Those shelby ones look SO awesome. Sucks they're so expensive. I'd like to see more of them.
