It doesn't matter if you're purple or pink, it's all about the enviroment you grew up with.

I think with a little nudge he would see the wisdom of owning a PT car. The guy is obviously into speed and handling.

For those that don't know, that dude is a stud. At one time - possibly still does - he owned the NCAAA single season record for picks. Defensive back playing back east. I played against him in many a tournament...almost unstoppable. I would almost bet he's got a car or two in his stable....

Larry,

I just saw your post...I'm Japanese and I'm into Pro Touring and Old School Muscle. I live a few miles inland from Monterey. I drive a Stielow built 69 Camaro called Tri Tip that made it's first debut back in '93. I hope color or Ethnicity doesnt hold you back....I've met some really cool people from all walks of life through this hobby.

I hope to run into you soon.

I dont know how to post pictures, that's where it usually stops for me. I get the most out of learning from the cars on the site. I live really close to Dave and Mary Pozzi and they are a wealth of knowledge and help if and when I get stuck on something. My car is a Dinosaur compared to what's being built these days...DSE actually went through the car while they were still in Michigan. We resisted the temptation of changing too much from Mark's original build. It has to be one of the first Pro Touring cars ever built and it still makes me smile everytime I take it out to stretch it's legs.

I need to make more time to drive it

White 69 Camaro that competed or participated in One Lap of America. Beyond that, I really no nothing about Tri-Tip.

Jeff, I'm sure someone will post the pictures for you if you're having trouble with it. I'd offer but my work schedule is crazy and it would take me a few days to get them up. By then, I'm sure I'd have people up in arms ready to string me up on the nearest tree for taking so long.
