That truck color is awesome. But something that would stand the test of time ,and my choice would be the silver.Check out some of the darker platinum colors.Try some tone on tone colors.
Your humble fan,Chris

If you go back black, if it were me, I would do a single stage urethane not a base/clear. Color depth is much better. Thats what we have found in cars we have done. Just a suggestion.

That's surprising, but also offers the benefit of easier touching up in the future.

Thanks!

With Black it works the best, other colors are ok, but not as nice. This is the only color we do like this.

I think the orange on that truck would be killer with a yellow or gold pearl but since you mentioned trying to stay away from pearls which I understand, I like the original hugger orange better. I like the idea of the darker silvers or slate with the black hockey stripe or even a charcoal stripe. That too would be cool.

Jody, what are the odds that you're just gonna wind up copying your old ZL1 clone? Gotta stay with the Steelers theme.....

Jody.....the color on that truck is awesome. And with a black 'hockey stick' stripe?

Oh yeah.

Jody, sorry to hear about your problems. On another note the orange on that truck just screams! I'd definitely consider it.

Jody,

Bummer about the paint, been there. Cheer up, as eventually, it will be another "interesting anecdote" of stories regarding the build.

I like the silver idea. In particular, I like color of silver on Ford's Cobra concept car. Slightly darker silver than the Mule, with lighter siver stripes.
