Every Camaro in town has the duck tail. That T/A wing would look good and keep the Poncho theme going and be slick if you cut it down like you said. It's hard to argue with the cleanlines of a wingless trunk though.....
Call mine 1/2 vote for T/A and 1/2 for wingless!

Once again guys, thanks for all of your comments and feedback. Since you "are" the PT movement, your feedback means a ton. Thanks.

Roger -
Your GTO spoiler is the style that I like in terms of width versus height.
I do like the T/A wing, but I want to find the shortest version I can. Even with the same height as a GTO, the 67/68 firebird is so narrow that the aspect ratio makes it look very tall, almost a little ricer.

Early Ponitacs and National Parts Deport both have ones that fit a 68, the NPD one has 3-3/4" standoffs. Haven't heard back from Early Pontiacs yet. I am trying to locate a shorter one.

Still have the factory one that came off it (looks exactly the same as a 68 Camaro spoiler) too.

Your crazy. They made the spoiler taller because it looks better then a lower one.

My GTO is wide body = lower spoiler
Your Firebird is narrow body = taller spoiler

Hint - What spoiler looks better on a 70-73 Camaro, the tall or the little spoiler they had on the car?

You are beating your self up over nothing. Check out Franks Camaro with the T/A spolier. This is by far is the best look out there. Your drawings can tell you that. My two cents worth. Your car, what ever makes you happy.

You have once again proven that you must have a side job as editor of MAXIM or FHM or Playboy...

How about getting a shot with no type of wing or spoiler.
