dplenzig:

Thanks for posting the picture. Compared to an original Sub-frame, it is quite different. Lucky for us it looks like they are engineering lots of room for wider tires.

Thanks again.

Kyle will be on Power Tour today with Stacey's camaro sporting the new sub frame. 10 inch tire no problem, cool.

Thanks for all the response guys. I talked to Stacy at DSE and many people on the PowerTour in Harrisburg, and the sub-frame is truly going to be awesome. I will be working with Jason at G-Force Design Concepts and hope to get one of the subframes sometime in Aug. or Sept. for my '69 Vert.
It will have hydro formed rails, accept 10" tires, and have completely new geometry. Basicly it will be the dream subframe I have been waiting for...can't wait!

Rob,

Didn't get a firm answer on the price...somewhere in the 6,000 to 7,000 range, but no one would give me a sure price yet. I didn't buy Jason's car, although it was tempting. I found a good car in New York...straight 6 with a power top, a really good base car to start with.

I'll be starting on it this fall, so the sub-frame should be out by then and between that and the DSE 4-link, it will be a hell of alot of fun!

Matt

Yeah thats what I heard too. Ouch! Nice to meet a fellow vert owner, do you have any pics? Do you plan to mini tub it? Sorry for all the q's just curious by nature...

Good luck with it and keep me posted.

Rob

PS where did you find a vert base in New York? I looked for almost 2 years before I found mine in Maryland. I would love to know what you paid if you don't mind telling me...

That's strange that it wasn't engineered for their control arms...does it use C4, C5, or C6 stuff instead?

I can't believe nobody got a pic of Stacy's car and a shot of the suspension...unless they were asked not to.

Wow...a $7000 suspension.

....that's a life I will never know.
