The BEAUTY of these events -- is that they supply (have in the past - thanks to Jet-Hot) driver instructors free of charge for newbs.

It's like Charley told me when I bought the Mustang from him. "EVERYONE starts somewhere" <end quote>... Just getting started is good enough! Get out there and enjoy!! You'll be blown away by how much fun you'll have!

That says a lot right there! LOL

Sadly - Rule #5 knocks me out before I get to read much further! DOH! Oh yeah -- it's a STREET CAR event. DOH.

Time for another "redeuce" Quit staring at it and just call Ron and get the parts coming! Coil overs, wheels and tires...what else, a couple bars in the interior? It's too easy!

Well, sadly, I'm goin for it this year. I can't believe that my car would be even in the same sentence as a GT3, other than the word car.

My car is currently tore up, the heads and cam won't be done in time, i won't know how to drive it with the new rear at T-hill, heck may not even be done in time. But I'm all in.

I think in the 5 catagories of points, 3 of them are "just get the job done as quickly as you can!", is that still correct?

But this event/genre is exactly what i built the car for. To street drive it, Race it, and enjoy the "F" out of it....

Good luck to all participating this year, and remember to "keep her slideways"

There's a very good chance I'll be there. I need to get some new rubber for the truck and get my shifter set up finished so the slush box behaves itself and I should be good to go. If nothing else, I'll turn tires to smoke like it's no one's business but my own. Everyone who's ever seen Top Gear knows that tire smoke = fast

I'm sure you'll survive, Glassman--I may come out to watch. I'm curious as to where they'd do the autocross part at Thunderhill...

My life is finally getting back to normal, well as normal as my life can be. This year should be able to make some events, and I'm hoping to get back on my AMX and have it ready for this year. Thank goodness that my brother from another mother (Jimi Day) didn't make some funky class which had he and I running with pre 90 AMC built with 2 seats, no aero, 14" tires, tinted glass, aluminum engine, plastic grilled, etc., etc., etc. Thanks for keeping it simple Jimi, seriously. My pea brain appreciates the simplicity.
