The pic of the fisrt rendering looks right to me. A little chrome sets off the car.

It looks just right! If you black things out, where do you stop? If you wanted a stealth look paint it black. Orange needs a little chrome to make a contrast.

Thanks to everyone that gave feedback. This will definitely help me in my decision making process. There were a number of good ideas tossed out. I can't wait to post the final rendering and progress pictures.
