Hence the purchase of a turn key track car vs a 60yr old one!

Car looked really good out there yesterday Craig. How did the Holley yesterday?

I developed a stumble, might be the 9 month old gas lol, or the nut behind the wheel (I had a not so good driving day, but a great day with friends)

Had a great weekend. Surprised a few people and hurt some feelings .

All the hard work payed off and the car performed flawlessly. The RE-71Rs picked up 0.2g's in grip over the 615K+ and I picked up 10 mph with the new motor.

This was my best run from Saturday was an 82.6. I studied the videos and logs and made some line changes for Sunday. First run was down to 80.2 plus one cone. By the end of the day I was down to a 79.8 which was good enough for 2nd in Street Machine and 10th overall.

I made it into the shootout but took myself out on the first run by overcooking the second straight and plowing through some cones. Better luck next time, but at least I am in the running again.

This was my run from Saturday. I'll post up the 79.8 with telemetry later.

Car looks VERY composed Craig! Nice work.

Man that's a long course...I've seen a few sideline videos of it but first one from inside the car for me. Would have loved to run that a few times to get the hang of it.

I too have made the shootout a few times now but haven't been able to do anything with it once in. That's the next thing I want to do, win at least one round in one.
