Well after some major improvements, the truck is running really, really well. Last weekend saw the first competition outing at the Goodguys Autocross.
Phil managed to nail down a personal best lap of 33.6 which, along with his other laps kept us to the top section of the time board for most of the weekend.
(We heard a rumor there were some other quick C-10'S there? )

Some pics and a vid from a VERY hot Columbus (track temp was around 150!)

Our 2nd round of hammering on this truck was after an invite to run the truck alongside the Popular Hot Rodding "Muscle Car of the Year" as an Exhibition entry.
With some front end tweaks based on how we ran at Columbus, we were eager to see how the C-10 compared against a strong lineup:

RingBrothers- 1966 Mustang fastback 'The Producer'
Kevin Miller- 1969 Camaro
Bob Bertelsen- 1971 Camaro
Detroit Speed & Engineering- 1966 Mustang fastback
Jon Clark- 1968 Valiant
Johnson's Hot Rod Shop- 1966 Nova
Year 1- 1973 Trans Am
John Cunningham- 1973 Firbird
Ken Edwards- 1966 Mustang
Woody's Hot Rodz- 1971 Vega GT

For those not familiar, 3 main events: Autocross, 1/4 mile drag and 1/8 mile speed stop. After the runs on each are complete, the results are averaged.

Final results:

Autocross:

Roadster Shop '70 C10 pick-up - 51.3573 average (Exhibition Run)
Detroit Speed- '66 Mustang fastback- 51.54967
Kevin Miller- '69 Camaro- 51.645
Alan Johnson- '66 Nova- 53.371

1/4 Mile Drag Race:

Year One- '73 Trans Am- 11.803 average
Roadster Shop '70 C10 pick-up - 12.31 average (Exhibition Run)
Ken Edwards- '66 Mustang- 12.462 average
Detroit Speed- '66 Mustang fastback- 12.55 average

1/8 Mile Speed-Stop

Detroit Speed- '66 Mustang fastback- 9.245 average
Year One- '73 Trans Am- 9.267 average
Roadster Shop '70 C10 pick-up - 9.323 average (Exhibition Run)
Jon Clark- '68 Valiant- 9.324 average

Good stuff Chris

Trucks are posting numbers, can I assume partially due to weight and weight bias?

I think the enormous tires under it would be one of the main factors.

Guys what bore and stroke did you use in the rhs block to get 510 inches?

I thought rhs states the max for their tall deck as 4.6 stroke and 4.165 bore which gives 501.

Also, are you running an intake manifold spacer and custom headers?

Thanks.
