Update time as promised!
The '75 Bird arrived with a 502 which will be getting swapped for a 572, a full Roadster Shop IRS 2nd Gen FAST TRACK chassis, custom interior and hood.
The car as it arrived:
The new hood, per owner request, was to retain both the center cowl and the dual snorkels. Our goal is to try and make the shapes a little more 'cohesive'. Some concepts:
The owner was looking for a new dash and interior with the goal to emulate the look and feel of a European sports car. The rear 'seat' area will become more of a luggage area similar to the back of a Porsche/Ferrari which will also house the audio setup.
And of course the Pantera! We have a few Pantera fans here at the shop who were pretty excited to see it come out of the trailer...
As mentioned, we received the car like this from another shop which will be doing the full build on it. We are in the beginning the stages of an IRS chassis for it, I'll post chassis pics as it comes together.
Glad to see you guys protecting the windshield! I made the mistake of using a cut off wheel (when cutting out the floors) of my brother in laws Camaro -- and the sparks/debris RUINED a brand new windshield... I learned something from that...
We also (you guys are getting a MEGA-update today) have another '67 Chevelle with a FAST TRACK IRS chassis and LS combo underway: (More build pics HERE)
...a 'custom' '63 Caddilac which arrived with a few body mods. We will be doing a custom chassis and firewall/engine bay. (More pics HERE )
...also, a '40 Olds chassis build (additional pics HERE)
We also just finished up a couple of chassis for Cope Customs: the first was a 66 Lincoln and the second was an IRS C-10 chassis set up for a 572 engine.
