Just wanted to post an update for everyone. It lives, the car is back together and Dick and i both drove the car for some shake down miles. We actually didn't have any issues other than adjusting the coilovers so the car sat level. All that's left is for Dick to adjust the front sheetmetal. But I must say the car feels amazing and pulls really well. Im sure Matt will chime in soon. I'm off to the east coast for Xmas.

Dropped off the rear view mirror yesterday afternoon, and got a ride . Everything is looking, sounding and working ok so far. It was kinda weird to think of our car as something that is actually drivable

So your Camaro is becomming drivable so that my car can become undrivable. lol

The stance on your car is killer.

I remember that with mine. You forget that the end goal is a car that actually moves!

I don't know about that. I thought Dick promised to make your car undrivable only after your completely insane 440 LSX is delivered

The stance also came up a bit. should be about 23 1/2" from the ground to the line on the front wheel opening now. I don't think it looks bad though. We've even got about 6.5-7" of clearance under the front spoiler, which is nice. Looks like we will be ready for Cars and Coffee Saturday morning.

It's only going to be around 680 hp... that's only semi insane. lol

Don't dent that front spoiler or Brad will start crying.. really..

True, I just found my hp memo from earlier this year notifying me that 680 is the new 500. I suppose I've just thought of it as insane because it has, what 500 lbs-ft. of torque from 3000 rpm, and is going in a car that weights somewhere around 2700 lbs when done.

As for the spoiler, I think I will start crying before Brad. At least he gets paid to make another. I'd love to have a bunch in fiberglass or carbon fiber, but molds aren't cheap, and unless everyone wants one, it looks like I'll have to be very careful.

Had the pleasure of a quick visit to the guys at BOS on Monday, and took a good look at the car. It's pretty darned nice, there are a lot of nice, subtle touches, and the build quality is terrific. Didn't get a ride, but did get to hear it run and it sounds fantastic. With luck, I might be at the event on Saturday, but to be honest I'd be just as happy watching the car run down the road, it has the absolute perfect stance. The color, although not for me, is really spectacular, one that pictures don't bring out the true intensity and beauty. In the sun it knocks your socks off, a great choice.

One very nice car!!!!! Enjoy!
Mark
