Its been a busy week and we have made some great headway on the assembly. We are just about done the wiring using the ISIS system - the front and rear Powercell boxes are in place and the wiring for all of the external systems is in place:

You can see the step-by-step installation on the OneLapCamaro website here - ISIS Intelligent Multiplex System Installation.

In addition to the wiring we have been making great progress in and out of the car. The new dash has arrived - we fitted it yesterday and finalized the installation today. Tomorrow we'll work at getting the Vintage Air vents and controls mounted and as soon as the Racepak dash arrives we'll get the instrument cluster together.

Funny thing is we have already used both front and rear hooks... you never know how handy they are until you want to use them. Although the first time is a little stressful...

How long till the electrical system is live? I would love to know your opinion on the system once it's running. I have been looking at it for a while but I'm a little eeeery about facing the gremlins, if any. very interesting system.

The trunk was simple and efficient, I wanted to maintain a (modern) factory like finish and think that it hit the mark:

James what material was used in the trunk I really like the way its form fit
Thanx Mario

It should be powered up tomorrow or Saturday at the latest. The real world caught up with me a bit this week and I wasn't able to put in the time that I wanted on the wiring but change tomorrow.

One of the many things that I like about the ISIS System is that, if anything, the gremlins will be easier to deal with given the systems smart diagnositic capabilities. One of the other things that I like is that the switching side into the Mastercell is via grounds and not hot wires. Saves some wear and tear on switches and eliminates a bunch of hot wires under the dash.

I'll keep you posted when we start running power to some of the loads.
