Got one word for this car. Insane. First time I have ever punched the throttle and got sideways going 55!!!!

That 587 ftlbs at 3700 gets it done. The money spent on the headers and exhaust was worth every penny. I am confident I am getting every last ounce of horsepower out of this engine. Working out some bugs this week.
Clutch pedal wasn't returning to the pedal stop. I made a z bracket out of 3/8 steel and a stronger spring. I attached it to the blow proof bellhousing. With these 2 1/8 headers using a stock spring setup is not going to happen. Redo
Pinion angle/ rear tire rub. After a discussion a month of so ago I discovered that the pinion angle was supposed to be 1 degree negative of the drive line angle with a G Bar. A little more with high horsepower applications. I set mine at 2 degrees negative tonight after having it 2 degree negative of level. It did smooth out the acceleration somewhat. I knew I would gain some clearance from the front of the tire to the fender lip. It actually moved the tire back .5 inches and centered the tire in the wheel well.

Two problems solved in one. It didn't get rid of the vibration that starts right at 72. It's got to be wheel balance because it has none until that point. (Buy the Prodigy Bar....the stock setup absolutely sucks for pinion angle adjustments) I hope the neighbors kids were in bed.
Hesitation hot off idle/ hard hot start I bought a Phenolic .5 carb spacer. This cuts way down on the heat transfer between the engine and carb. From some research new fuels boil easier than old. The cooler you can keep your carb the better. Tomorrow it's going on and then I will tweak the idle mixtures and accelerator pumps. This should help me eleminate the stumble off idle and hard hot start.
Re routed my vent for my fuel tank. More of a striaght up design. While under the car tonight I now have a leak at my pump inlet. Drip ever once an a while. I used high temp teflon and let it set up for 72hrs. These things are a bitch to seal.
I also adjusted all four coil overs for the third time. The front is higher than I would like but it seems to still be settling. I am going to drive it for a few weeks and then worry about getting it perfect.
