Sounds like a great trip. Car looks great too.
Nice hp and tq numbers for sure. Better to leave a little power on the table for the reasons you stated above. Nice car.

I probably should have waited until we have this installed in our car but couldn't wait to share.

We had the same company that makes the ZL1 hood scoop for GM make our custom grille in matching pre preg Carbon Fiber. This is the real deal and not imitation or simulated carbon fiber.

The first parts just arrived today and they are absolutely perfect. We can't wait to get it all installed. Of course, we'll post more pictures when it is.






Notice how the angle of the weave is consistent from vertical to vertical bar. That is way easier said than done, especially on complex, deep parts like these.





Dan designed the pieces with close tolerance recesses on the back side to allow the invisible use of double stick tape to hold them all firmly in place.

Wow that looks awesome! Its amazing they can get the carbon fiber so straight around all those different angles. I loved the grill before and this brings it up another notch.
