Man Echo/I10 is just down the road from my house (just near city center). Also near GAP Racing. You gonna be there this weekend?

Will,

Most likely I won't be there this weekend. Have the car on jackstand swapping out spindles, and with the auto show this weekend, most of the guys won't be there either.

I plan to be there in 2 weeks, as I'll be in San Antonio next weekend.

I've been to GAP before. Tim is 10 min from where I work. When I stopped by, your Camaro was in body shop.

Some new parts arrived!

Some new parts put on order as well. Master cylinders and billet reservoirs for the new pedal assembly. Picked up the carbon spoiler off this site as well

Sweet. What's the timeframe looking like? Are you going to make Power Tour? I'm registered, just need to make hotel reservations. My car is going back to Roadster Shop this spring for final touch ups. My son and I are going to fly up and do the whole tour back. Should be a blast. Hopefully we will meet you somewhere in Alabama, Mississippi or Louisiana.

Goal is to do the whole thing.

Got the transmission in today and measured driveshaft. It's inly temporary to fab turbo stuff.

Also got the fuel tank installed with dual pump setup.

I'll be going up friday to see what I can get accomplished before I go offshore. Need turbo headers now to make big progress. I'll see if I can mount the brakes and maybe the shocks though.

Car got on the lift at GAP so we could do a little more work to it:

First up was installing the RSG Tranzilla. Was simple to do with the quicktime bellhousing and the hooker crossmember. Looks like some MINOR modifications needed to the crossmember to allow the mount to sit down fully.

After putting it in the air and taking a look at it, I can tell i'm going to cut the bottom of the bellhousing flange so it's not hanging so low. Dont want to risk snagging that on the road when driving. That would be devastating!

After that I got the tank installed in the car. Still need to snug the straps up a little bit it looks good Got both CTS-V pumps modified and in the tank pointing the way I want. Looking forward to taking full advantage of this system!

Will,

I'd like to stop by GAP later today (2-3 pm time frame) if you'll be around.

Let me know please.
