After two weeks of "honey do's" I had a few minutes this weekend to start things moving again. I mounted my Blue Print LS3 427 onto the frame, smoothed the firewall, closed in the air inlet holes on the bottom of the front valance and fitted the rear exhaust panel. I plan on shooting gel coat (Duretec) on the doors, firewall and T-tops this weekend and have it in primer ready for paint the first week of August. I'm slowly moving fwd

Its been a while but the car is in final gel coat and should be in primer next weekend. All the body work is complete. The transmission should be on its way, American Powertrain is behind. I also thought I would share my security signs I have around the property, visitors should get the message.
After a few delays I installed my TKO 600 from American Powertrain. I want add that their customer service is first rate. On Friday I noticed I had the wrong flywheel bolts so I called and they overnighted the correct bolts. On Sunday, I called their hot line to ask a question about the hydraulic throw-out bearing and their rep actually stepped out of church to answer my call, now that is special. I also ordered a box of 1 7/8" pipe along with 3 1/2 to begin to build my headers. I will use Ed's flanges with starter tubes and go from there. I'm looking into building something very similar to the header that is attached. Thanks
