The car is geared for a theoretical 225MPH. I talked to Jeff and will let him respond as to why the car seemed to perform bad.

My other concern is with the 200mph barrier broken, the lack of experience by drivers may become an issue. There really is no place to safely practice. Maybe these guys have to spend some time at Speed Week in Bonneville to get some idea of what to expect. Even Jeff, with 30 yrs of racing at various levels was nervous at that speed.

I just got back at 1am this morning.
I had my brake bias adjusted incorrectly in Z2Z. All 3 runs had to be done back to back, all done in about 10 minutes, no time to mess with things.
The road is tar with pea gravel thrown on top, difficult to launch.
I got to make one pass in the mile, a viper had blown coolant on the road, the evo ran after me, something blew a hole in the valve cover, oil all over the windshield and he went off the road, crashed.
The event was shut down. Never got to make another pass with the higher boost. 2nd in both events. I'm now one of 3 people in the Optima Batteries 200 mile per hour club at this mile event. I did take 700 feet off my last years Z2Z distance despite going 13 mph faster.
I've done 0-60 in 2.0 with traction.
My car is geared for 235 mph at 7000.
Thanks

Hey Jeff, that is pretty impressive. I figure it's either a misprint of your times, or something else. Where was Big Red this year?
