Tyler, that just sucks! Times are strange when thieves are stealing cars that are not up and running yet! How in the hell would they know to look in your storage unit? Plus another Camaro is in plain open sight and they don't touch that one! Man this stuff just pisses me off!

It sucks your car got stolen but the cops never dust for prints unless a person is hurt or killed.Stolen cars they don't care about insurance is for that.

MAN!!!!
Sorry for the loss my man. There are a lot of scumbags out there. I cannot believe they had the balls to rip it off in broad daylight?!?
Sounds like they were either watching you load the bay or it was an inside job??
GOOD LUCK with everything.

Tyler I can not imagine what you are going through and I fully understand not wanted to talk about it. Two things, I hope you had insurance on the car or maybe go after the storage unit as they have it on tape. I hope you can find the truck your self and have a little fun with the guys with the tools you have left over. People that do this stuff should be shot and removed from our country.

Hold your head high and move on as you stated. The only thing that will make this any better is to get the car back complete or catch the guys that did it.

Man....Sorry to hear this. I know I was pissed at the world when my old Mustang was stolen from the guy I SOLD it to....I had the car for 13 years and turned every bolt on it and someone stole it and I know they cut it up. In my case I still watch for parts as the interior was a one-off and there are many other parts on the car that can be identified as I marked them. The car even had LoJack and an alarm....It was 2 years last month. Even though I no longer owned the car I had such a personal attachment to it that I'd probably severly hurt someone if I found the parts on their car. I felt that way and no longer owned the car....it's a personal violation for a car guy to have a car stolen from him...you've put a lot of yourself into the car.

Someone HAD to know it was there!!! There is no other way around it. Hopefully there becomes a happy ending here but in the meantime many people watching for parts is the best set of eyes you can have.

I can understand wanting to be done with it but I have a hard time letting a thief get away with something.....thieves are dirtbags and deserve to be beaten within an inch of their lives!

Good luck!

Default If that is not your car at Roger's shop

Than I am truely sorry. If it is, good joke.

If it is not, check with your homeowner's insurance carrier. If the car is in parts it is not considered a car...it is considered personal property. The car itself would not be covered, but if the wheels and motor/trans were not attached to the car, they would be or any other piece not attached.

Personal property is covered anywhere in the world...including that storage unit.

sorry to hear that ,if they catch them i hope they cut off their balls. i'd get a lawyer and sue the storage place. they might only cover you for 10k but i'm sure they have a larger liability policy you could go after for negligence in not providing better security. i put lojack in mine.
