Thanks!! 2x4x.125 (or eighth inch) a little heavy but Im not running a cage, and the 2x4 is key on keeping the exhaust even with the bottom of the chassis.Im going to recess the seat frames down 1in,so basically my floorpans will have a roughly 18inx18inx1in box for the seats to sit in thus giving you an inch of headroom back,I figure you lose 2in + of headroom by channeling the body even with the bottom of the chassis and this will give me half back. And then both my hot turbo exhaust pipes will go to an x merge on the pass side come thru the inner frame rail right about where the trans box is,and at that point going to covert to oval pipe to run under the seat pan and into a nascar style boom muffler which is 2 in and 2 out and then exit thru the frame and rocker panel in front of the rt rear tire. The exit tip is gonna be 2in by probably 18 long,Im gonna custom built it so the dimensions that look correct will be decided at that time. This is actually my next step after finishing the rear clip and suspension. Then gonna mock the motor/trans in and start on all that.If anyone has 2 mockup turbo housings I could use some soon.Do you have a build page??

No build page yet I have changed my mind with the direction I want to go so many times its crazy and I dont want to look like a scatterbrain. So Im still in the design/part collecting part right now. I even sold my car since it was a little too rough to work with. Plus it gives me more room in my budget for cool suspension parts I do have the whole summer off from school plenty of parts and a brand new welder so I hope to have a rolling chassis by september.

Take your time and do as much as possible yourself and have fun with it!! Plus when you start on it youll see your ideas change on the fly, just let it happen. You havent seen rough till you see my 66 Nova shop project I bought.Needs every outer pnl and a full floorboard and cowl/apron.My 66 Chevelle body was bad also but the only parts of the shell that Im using are in pretty good shape(roof, inner qt pnls, and the cowl and hinge post) everything else will start as .024 flat sheetmetal!!!
