Car turned out well. Not alot of surprises. Rear quarters will need to be replaced (was hoping I could save them) along with outer wheelhouse's (inners are fine). There are a few pin holes in trunk and rear passenger pan, but nothing that cant be welded up.

Also sail panel will need some repair where glass lays but I dont think it requires replacement. Front pass floorpan will need to be replaced between toe pan and just in front of seat riser.

Thanks Mario. I plan on using AMD quarters. I have read and heard really good remarks about their panels. I spoke with AMD on friday and the fellow answered on all my questions.

I have been told their fenders fit/gap nice to doors also.

I haven't had a chance to update lately, but I have worked on it some. The pin holes in trunk and a few in rear floor have been welded & smoothed. I cut out part of the front passenger floorpan and butt welded the new peice in. I thought it turned out very nice. I just have to grind the weld down now.

Mario. My rockers are in good shape. Only thing to do is put on rear quarters, outer wheelhouses and trunk drop pans.

I got my AMD rear quarters in today and they are nice quality. Much nicer than what I remember from Goodmark (although I hear they are thicker metal now).

My AMD quarters arrived a week ago so I am at the point now to get someone to replace the rear quarters, as I am not real keen on tackling this job. I know you have to start somewhere, but not on my wifes car. When mom is happy, everyone is happy!

I had spoke with Dan Holohan, owner of Holohan's HotRod Shop (formerly with Rad Rides by Troy and DSE) in Mooresville NC a couple of times late last year. So needing some fab work, my wife and I decided to go check out his shop and meet him and put a face with a voice.

It was great to meet Dan and a special thanks to him for taking time out of his day to talk cars, shop and answer all of my questions about our project and projects he has worked on in the past. Many thanks again for the Sick Fish build book!

I enjoyed spending most of a day talking cars. I must say my wife and I really enjoyed watching his dog Jake do tricks as well.

Dan is a super nice guy. I plan to take the wifes car to Holohan's HotRod's in August. I saw some of his header and exhaust work on a 57 chevy and it was truely a work of art. Dan is blessed with a talent, I wish I had just a bit of. It's very hard starting a business, but doing so in this economy can be even more difficult, so if you need any fab work, call him up as you will not be disappointed with the quality of craftmenship.

Here is a cool video of Jack saying his prayers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6rIchHO6-8
