Man you guys have had some crazy things happen. I think we all have bought cars from Bubba Rays auto emporium, one time or another. No offense to anyone who is actually named Bubba ray.

Some of these make you ask the question, did a shop do work this bad? or was the prior owner that dumb? maybe in some cases both

now but hoping I don't find something to add to the topic in my car.

Haha, yeah, I probably deserve that. My car is a rolling homage to many of the things these guys have mentioned. The previous owner "restored" the car in 1983 and the materials of choice were definitely fiberglass, yellow wire, and epoxy to make up for the welder that must have been stolen from them.

I'm working on fixing them as my skills, tool collection and budget allow.
