It went great except the track started late and everyone had a good time. Mine ran pretty decent..still working on my 60 foots. Went a best of 11.82 at 115.
Rokn69 was running great as well. He was going 11.6 on motor and blasted a 10.30 at 129.9 with a 180 shot!!! Lots of other guys in the group running good....13's and 14's.

I drove it to and from the track! But you know that. Hehe.

It ran a best of 11.572 at 116.86. On N2O she ran a best of 10.30 at 129.92 MPH. I can't quite belive my 60' time was 1.546, but it was. The launch was all motor and a split second after launch I nailed the N2O. Hitting the N2O off the line resulted in a quick tire roasting.

It was my first time running Nitrous. I've learned a thing or three since this event. I had no bottle blanket, and I figure the bottle was at roughly 65-70F. It wasn't a very warm day. And in 3rd gear the car fell on it's face. I think with a NANO system I will get much more MPH and a better track time as I'll keep the bottle pressure up before and during the pass.

I was also 5 jet sizes lean on the secondaries... oops. I've fixed this issue and hopefully the weather will give me another chance to go race it and find out what she'll do all-motor with the jetting fix.

Ron, thanks for putting this event together. I had a great time.

I saw your cars there but didn't realize that was you guys. They were my favorite cars there to watch. Small tire-real street cars running hard. Nice times. I gotta run you guys on motor-my best is 11.60 @ 124 N/A. Would make for great footage!

My car is down getting the t56 and more gear so I probably won't make the last grudge but we'll have to set something up for the first of the year. Dave

Dave I did not get a chance to see your car! I love that thing. I can't believe it's trapping 124! What did you do to pick up more trap speed?

Hi Dave,

You bet, next time we'll have to look for each other. It was kind of crowded (I thought) that evening. And thanks for the compliment!

Motor to motor would rock. I think with more fuel (I was running lean on top end) I'll pick up more trap speed. The time slips will tell, though. Last year when I was there, with an older setup, I ran 121 at 11:66 on motor. I think having my jetting screwed up this year (different carb, too) resulted in a best MPH of the evening of 117.39 on motor.

Here's a picture of my car so you can find me next time:

I'm sure it has to do with a terrible 60' giving me more time to generate energy. I'm pretty confident when the 60' drops with the new setup, the MPH will stay the same or drop by a couple.

I was talking with a couple guys last night who are pretty involved with the track. They said that when the new fencing was installed at the top end of the track the trap speed sensors were set out a little too far. This makes for high MPH readings versus Infineon by 2-3 MPH. They said the beams are correct for ET, but high for speed. It should be fixed at any point here. Sounds like I would trap 121 or so with them fixed. Interesting.

Awesome ride for sure.

I always bring a jet kit to the track. Next time we'll have to play around with your setup and see if we can sneak a couple more precious tenths out of it. Gotta get my new setup ready and break the clutch in. As soon as it's ready I'll let you guys know so we can have a little track party. good times.
